The IELASITUNED BUGGY is a 4 and 7 port engine with tuned crankshaft and represents the most powerful and speedy 1/8 off-road engine of the IELASI TUNED Buggy Engines line, with great power at both low and high R.P.M.
He has all what an engine needs to compete against other market leading engines

Crankshaft:
As this engine comes as "Factory Tuned" we have modified the crankshaft to futher improve the power output and driveability.

Sleeve:
This 4 transfer ports sleeve is the best option to provide high linear power at each RPM and low fuel consumption.
The sleeve has 7 transfer ports to create a linear power output and to keep fuel consumption low. The tuned crankshaft is manufactured with a larger bore intake to increase the mixture flow. we have modified both pistonsleeve to improve the power.

Conrod:
The R7 conrod is machined from a super light aluminum that has been checked ultrasonically. The unique shape of the R7 rod creates less turbulence inside the engine. (only for Buggy)

Piston:
Each piston is coupled with the sleeve to get the best compression and longevity. This operation is made by hand, one by one and checked by a specific precise measurement tool.

The carburetor chosen for the IELASITUNED BUGGY engines is the plastic one from Novarossi. It is a "reverse" type with a sliding throttle valve. It provides high idle stability, more precise tuning and higher mid/top range power. nylon body carburetor features a standard design that allows the use of interchangeable venturi's to tune for any track condition. Using small venturi fuel consumption will be reduced easily achieving the 10 min. With large venturi you will get an incredible performance at high RPM.

RECOMMENDED PIPE 51006M (EFRA 9901) or 51020M (EFRA 2096) - Off-road polished tuned pipe, with ring,
3 chambers, reinforced tube for 3,5cc/4,66cc engines.
41021- Polished manifolsd short, 2 rings.


Buggy Clutch

The four shoes clutch is conceived, designed and built by Novarossi in order to:

- grant the most efficient power transmission;
- increase traction;
- increase the lifetime of its parts;
- reduce fuel consumption.

The clutch is completely tunable thanks to different springs and shoes combinations, aluminum and CFM (Controlled Friction Material). The springs are available in three different hardness.

Cooling head:
The cooling heads of the ITD.25-7CL TRUGGY engines are made lighter by making aditional holes in the cooling fins. This reduces the overall mass of the engine.

Sleeve:
The sleeve has 7 transfer ports and an exhaust with booster ports. The special shape and positioning of the ports, covered by a patent, improve the internal fluid-dynamics to obtain the maximum possible performance.

Crankshaft:
The Turbo SG crankshaft is made from high quality steel.
 

Rear cover:
The rear cover presents a round shape to optimize the filling and reducing the dead spaces. the steel plate is to reduce friction and to expand the lifespan of the conrod.

Carburetor:
This carburettor is made from plastic and have a sliding throttle valve. (reverse type)
