	WELL DONE TEAM WHITING #IelasiTuned Loran's report. The Whiting family had a good weekend at the Rumble in the Asphalt Jungle race at the new permanent onroad track in Austin, Texas. I was able to TQ and win 1/10 Nitro Sedan and my brother Foster was able to TQ 1/8 Open. He unfortunately had some trouble in his main but he was super fast all weekend! My Serpent Natrix 748 and Foster's Serpent 977 were both hooked up and powered by Ielasi Tuned engines. I ran the Ielasi Tuned ITD .12-3CL Spec engine and Foster ran the ITD .21-9CL WC Spec engine. We ran a 2660 pipe and 5 fin header on the .12's and 2015 pipe with a 6 fin header on the .21's. Thanks to our dad for being the brains behind the operation as both our pit man and mechanic. We were very happy with our racing packages all weekend. Thanks to the guys at N-Control for the great event and track. 	IFMAR World Championship 1/10th in Gubbio is finished. Amazing race, superb organisation and facilities thanks to Automodellismo Cinque Colli Gubbio and special thanks to Giuseppe Agostinelli to give us a real WC RC atmosphere. As a official, and after 1 week in Gubbio sharing experience with drivers, organisers, manufactures... you realize that you are in front that a BIG FAMILY. When competition comes everybody want to win and try to find the limits in the rules, competitors, referees... Pressure is getting higher and everyone try to do their role as better as they can. This is a World Championship and it is a normal situation!! But when race finished, friendship atmosphere come back and you see again why is the reason to stay here. THIS IS A BIG FAMILY!! Congrats to DOMINIC GREINER for the WC title, and SIMON KURZBUCH and ALESSIO MAZZEO for the podium! Another IFMAR title for a EFRA driver! AND WHOLE PODIUM NOVAROSSI See you in next races!
	Robin D Hondt claims European 1/8th on-road title The 2016 EFRA 1/8th Nitro On-road European Championship was held in in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The event was highly affected by the unsteady European weather this Summer but the 45 minute main event would be held in good racing conditions. The pole position holder, Shepherds Simon Kurzbuch, showed an impressive pace over the week and in the main final he looked to be in control of things with Robin D Hondt appearing to be the only driver able to keep up with Simons speed. But disaster struck for Simon as technical issues put a halt to his title chase, allowing Robin to take over the lead and never looking back. Behind the Belgian driver a 3-car train was in a fight for the runner-up spot, formed by ARC driver Toni Gruber, Daniele Ielasi (WRC) and Simon Kurzbuch. At the end Robin would bring home the win a lap ahead of the battling Toni Gruber and Daniele Ielasi who completed the podium separated by only about two tenth of a second. Final results: 1. 	Daniele Ielasi takes Italian 1/8th IC track national title Cassino in Italy played host to the Italian 1/8th Nitro On-road Championship this weekend. Infinity Carmine Raiola would place his O.S. powered ride on the TQ spot after the qualifiers but in the 45 minute A-main, Daniele Ielasi would bring home the win with his GTX, powered by his own Ielasi Tuned Novarossi engine, sealing the first important title for Italian company WRC. 	Kerler & Greiner win at South German regionals Rd3 Round three of the South German Nitro On-road regionals, the qualifying series for the German Nationals, was held this past weekend at the popular Turkheim track. In the premier 1/8th Nitro On-road class 1, Tobias Kerler (ARC) brought home the win after taking the TQ while in the slightly slower class 2 it was Alex Bremberger who came out fastest after the qualifiers, but ultimately it was Bernhard Hummel who took the win in the main final. 	Toni Santana crowned 1/8th GT European Champion The city of Zagreb, Croatia played host to the 1/8th GT European Championships this past weekend. In the main final, Spaniard Toni Santana would jump into the lead right from the tone and he never looked back. Behind him Daniel Jones looked to be set for a podium finish but he ran into technical issues when heavy rain started to fall at around the 35 minute mark. 	Jonnhy Pastor wins at Spanish 200mm Touring regionals The recent Spanish 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring regionals saw Mugens Jonnhy Pastor walking away with the win. Starting from the 2 spot into the A-main Jonnhy put his car in the lead already in the second corner only to loose it some five or six laps later due to clutch problems. But after the first round of pit stops Jonnhy was back in third and soon after he was also promoted into second, allowing him to challenge team mate David Belen (mugen). The latter later suffered car problems so he was out of the race for the win. Raul Amella (Xray), also in the mix for the win, had to cope with a flame out before refuelling, giving Jonnhy room to breathe and to cruise to the win from David and Raul. Top 3 result: 1. 	Tosolini & Whiting win at 39th Texas Biggie race At the 39th annual Texas Biggie race Loran TQ's and wins Sedan she used the ITD.12-3CL SPEC., Chris Tosolini TQ's and wins 8th scale open with ITD.21-9CL WC(5min run) and Jeff win Masters 8th scale with his ITD.21-9CL. 	IELASITUNED UK AT 2. ROUND BRCA Well done to Ielasi Tuned UK drivers Arron Girling and Mtt Box at round 2 of the BRCA 1/8 Rallycross championships held at Kent last weekend. After 5 rounds ofqualifying Matt would line up on pole in the 1/16 finals and take the win to bump into the 1/8 finals where he finished in 8th place. Arron managed to qualify straight into the 1/8 finals and drove a great race to bump into the 1/4 finals where he came home in 11th place.

	ESBRC SUMMER SERIES IN UK Last weekend the second round of the ESBRC Summer Series was held at the East Shrewsbury BRC trackÂ in Hadnall, Shropshire. Thanks to good pit strategy Matt Box managed to win in front of Matt Slaney, second and Ashlee Owen, third on this very fast and thirsty track.
	GT NATIONALS IN UK - HALIFAX Great weekend at Halifax track for the 1/10 200mm and 1/8 GT Nationals! Thanks Ielasi Tuned for the incredible power! In 1/8 GT I led the final at the start until the 5 minute mark where contact with a backmarker lost almost 1 lap however I clawed it back to around 1.5 sec gap to 1st place at the end. 2 more minutes would have been enough for the victory but hey that's racing! Next stop for me is the EFRA GP in Zagreb, Croatia. Can't wait! In 1/10 200mm the race went well until around 20 minutes when the rear anti roll bar broke and I limped home to 7th place. Power and runtime was never a problem all weekend!

	IELASI TUNED IN UK WITH MATT BOX - RC PITBOX ITD.21-4CQ BUGGY MOD. Yesterday was the final round of the winter x cross series with around 60 drivers present. Matt qualified in 6th place and came in 4th missing the podium by 1 second. He came 5th in the series overall and got fastest lap in A main WELL DONE MATT!!

	COMPLIMENT LORAN & JEFF WINTERNATS ARE OVER... As always, I had a great time at the 2016 Florida WinterNats in Fort Myers this past week. Favorite race in the US despite the love hate relationship with the track! Had some bad luck in the final but managed a 7th place in the 1/10 Sedan A main. Car and engine were great all week. Thanks to my dad for his support and dedication as always. He rocks. It was also really fun to see him out there wheeling in the 1/8 Masters class, barely missing the bump to the A! Also, a big thanks to all of the racers at the track for their laughs, friendship, and help throughout the week. Racing is all about having fun and you all contribute to that! 	WRC contest is over... In the end P6. Some problem to find rigth setup in this hard condition of grip, realy realy high. In the end i can be satisfied of my week end, also because i learn every time more and more to set up my car on carpet. For wrc good result also because 3cars on the A-main final.
